Went to see The Dark Knight last night and I was gripped from beginning to end. Not one duff bit, crap line or major plot hole. A finely crafted film from start to finish.
I saw the Dark Knight last Sunday (and again on Tuesday) and was completely blown away!!
The quality of the acting, script, and cinematography were outstanding. Comic-book movies tend to be quite formulaic in their approach and so I was delighted to see Christopher Nolan tear-up the rule book and provide something really original and thought provoking, (take careful note Marvel comics).
And before I forget, Heath Ledger IS the Joker in what was a truely remarkable performance. He was by turns frightening, darkly amusing and anarchic. What a great shame that we will never see this version of the Joker again.
This is by far and away my favourite film of the year so far and I can quite easily see myself queuing up again to see it soon.
