Oo-er, mind that cliche...

Well, I am still here and thought i'd post a wee update on what's happening in the game world for me. I'm still playing in the the tri-weekly AD&D game, latest session of which happens tonight.
In two weeks time, i'm returning to the GM's table to run the next installment in the adventures of the Justice Associates. This will occur every three Tuesdays for the next couple of months at least. That should lead nicely into Year 4 of our annual Harry Potter game at Christmas. There's a few boardgames been happening and plans are afoot for a couple of wargame projects . All in all, nicely busy.

Boot Sale

So we're on a big push to raise funds for our trip to Florida next year. To that end I've spent some time sorting through the loft and this weekend we hit the local boot sale. We had a good time and raised a nice chunk of cash. Also may have found a couple of buyers for some vinyl which was a real good result.

Trek from the grave

Well strangely I've been spending time working on some stuff from the Decipher Star Trek game. I've got a few odds and ends floating around which I want to submit to Patrick at Beyond The Final Frontier. Need to spend some time knocking them into shape first, though.

Thunderbirds are...go!

Quick note to mention that my Savage Worlds version of Thunderbirds has been posted on savageheroes. You can download the file at www.savageheroes.com/conversions.htm. I'm chuffed to see it available and am thinking seriously about giving Savage Star Trek the same treatment. Hmmm..

Here we go again...

Interest in Savage Star Trek has picked up again over on the Pinnacle forums. I feel another revision coming on :-)

It's getting better...

Battle with the flu goes on although i'm feeling mostly human again. My lovely wife is also on the mend and fortunately (touches wood), Maddie has not caught it. School has been closed most of the week due to all of the snow, which is still on the ground as I write but normality, i'm sure, is not far away. Birthday this week as well and hopefully i'll be able to order a new ipod by the end of the week as i'm getting twitchy without one now. There may also be gaming on the way soon although i'm treading carefully at the moment.

Still here.

Yes, I am still here. No real excuses for not posting apart from having lots going on in real life and not much going on in the gaming world. A quick summary of recent events.
  • Maddie getting into the school choir
  • Maddie joining Brownies
  • Maddie singing as part of Young Voices choir at the O2 arena.
  • Maddie singing at Christmas carol concerts and a concert for Help For Heroes.
  • One game session, namely Year Three of Harry Potter.
  • Everyone in the house catching Swine Flu this week.

That covers most of it. Have some ideas for new topics here before too long.
